This beautifully maintained ranch has only been occupied by the original owner. He built the home and faithfully cared for it for many years. Now, you have the opportunity to own this lovely home that is privately tucked away in a peaceful setting.
I awoke to the sound of my husband's alarm yesterday morning. The Ohio Attorney General was a special guest on a radio program, and he was talking about the increase of fraud being perpetrated on those who are facing foreclosure. He was specifically talking about companies that exist to scam people who are already in financial distress.
With over 14,000 properties for sale in the Greater Cincinnati area, it is easy for listings to get relegated to "the pile" of inventory for many reasons. Here are some tips so that you can avoid being thrown on the pile (and what a deep pile it is).
1. Be ready to price your home appropriately. Avoid insisting on a price based on emotion, what you paid for the house, or what you need out of it. In many areas, you are competing with foreclosures and short-sales. They make up the market, so be prepared to demonstrate your value.
My husband and I just celebrated 15 years of marriage last week. I hadn't been married to my him very long-maybe a few years when we started talking about buying a home. I had a college education and a job as a teacher. Apartment life was getting me down, so my husband and I made an appointment with a mortgage advisor.
If you are anthing like me, you appreciate a good deal-especially when you are taking the kids for a night out. Eating out can be expensive for a large family, so here is some news that just might be music to your ears.
Last week, we took the kids out for the evening. First, we took them to pet the farm animals in Anderson, and then, we took them out to eat at IHOP in Miami Township.
IHOP is offering free meals for kids from 4-10PM, seven days a week through the summer. For every adult meal that is purchased, a child can eat free!
I had a listing appointment recently, and I had to deliver some unpleasant news. The price at which this particular home was listed was way too high. Nothing comparable had sold within a mile of this home within the past 6 months, so I expanded my search for "solds" to include the entire township. What I found was the perfect illustration of what has happened to the market.

It is a charming bungalow that sits on a quiet street in Old Milford. Although is seems to be a cozy cottage at first glance, it really has almost 1,000 sq. ft. of living space according to the Clermont County Auditor. With a walk-up to the unfinished attic, there is even more potential living space. This home also offers a full basement, which allows for a great deal of storage space and a laundry area.
Recently, I received an interesting e-mail from a potential client. Her home had expired from the market, and I had sent her some information about what I would do to market her home. Although she did not contact me by phone, she sent me the equivalent of a pre-interview via e-mail.
In that e-mail, she introduced herself, mentioned that she was considering several agents for the job of marketing her home (including me), and asked the following 5 questions:
1.What is your commission and would you be willing to negotiate with it?

Picture yourself in a simpler time at a relaxed pace, surrounded by the beauty of the country. The picture that comes to mind will probably be one very much like this home. It is a place described by the owners as being one where you can sit on the back patio and watch the sunrise, and you can sit on the front porch in the evening and watch the sunset.
